Role Overview:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Engineering Lead to join our dynamic team. As an Engineering Lead, you will be responsible for overseeing the engineering team, guiding the development of AI-driven applications, and ensuring the delivery of high-quality software solutions. You will play a critical role in driving technical excellence, fostering innovation, and contributing to the overall success of our projects.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and mentor a team of engineers, providing guidance and support in technical decision-making, code reviews, and best practices.
  • Collaborate with senior stakeholders to understand business requirements and translate them into technical requirements for the engineering team.
  • Architect, design, and develop AI-driven applications and software solutions, ensuring scalability, performance, and security.
  • Oversee the entire software development life cycle, including design, development, coding, testing, and debugging.
  • Stay updated with the latest technologies and industry trends, continuously enhancing technical skills and driving innovation within the team.
  • Foster a collaborative and inclusive team culture, promoting knowledge sharing and continuous learning.
  • Continuously improve development processes and standards to drive efficiency and quality.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 6 years of professional experience in software development, with at least 2 years in a leadership role.
  • Proficiency in languages such as Python, Java, or TypeScript, with experience in cloud-native development.
  • Proven experience in designing and developing scalable, robust, and high-performance applications.
  • Deep understanding of software development best practices, design patterns, and coding standards.
  • Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyse complex technical challenges and provide innovative solutions.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
  • Ability to lead and inspire a team, fostering a culture of continuous learning and growth.
