Role Overview:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Backend Developer to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining the backend infrastructure of our AI-driven applications. You will play a crucial role in designing, implementing, and optimizing scalable backend systems, ensuring their reliability and performance. If you are passionate about backend development and have a strong background in NodeJS, AWS/Azure, and CI/CD principles, we would love to hear from you.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design, develop, and maintain robust backend systems using NodeJS.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features.
  • Implement and manage CI/CD pipelines to ensure smooth deployment processes.
  • Utilize Infrastructure as Code (IaC) principles using tools like Terraform, CDK, or ARM to automate infrastructure management.
  • Work with cloud platforms such as AWS and/or Azure to deploy and manage applications.
  • Convert Behavior-Driven Development (BDD) specifications to Test-Driven Development (TDD) practices.
  • Optimize application performance, scalability, and security.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve backend issues, ensuring high availability and reliability.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest industry trends and technologies to continuously improve our backend architecture.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 5 years of professional experience as a Backend Developer.
  • Strong proficiency in NodeJS.
  • Experience with Python and React is a bonus.
  • Proficiency in working with cloud platforms such as AWS and/or Azure.
  • Solid understanding of CI/CD principles and experience with CI/CD tools.
  • Knowledge of Infrastructure as Code (IaC) principles and tools like Terraform, CDK, or ARM.
  • Experience in converting BDD specifications to TDD practices.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to handle complex backend development challenges.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
